Las Vegas Raiders (5-2)
The Raiders won their 2nd in a row as they hosted the Philadelphia Eagles. They headed into the 2nd quarter down by a touchdown but then before half time they took the lead and never looked back. Carr threw 31 for 34 and had 324 yards, and Ngakoue had 2 sacks. Raiders get a bye on week 8 and then see the New York Giants in week 9.
Los Angeles Chargers (4-2)
The Chargers had a week 7 bye week which seemed to come at a good time considering they got whooped by the Ravens in week 6. Next up they host the New England Patriots who are coming off of a 54-13 victory over the Jets. If they can defend their home field, they will take 1st place in the division as they beat the Raiders in week 4.
Kansas City Chiefs (3-4)
Rough day at the office for the Kansas City Chiefs as they were defeated in Tennessee by the Titans 27-3. Mahomes has turned over the ball in 6 straight games now but this isn’t the only reason Chiefs fans should push the panic button. Their offensive line has been inconsistent, and their defense is putrid. Another super bowl appearance this year is beginning to look grim as their schedule doesn’t really have any easy outs either. Luckily they face the Giants next week in prime time and they will need to build some momentum if they want to try to keep pace with the Raiders and Chargers.
Denver Broncos (3-4)
The Broncos lost their 4th straight game this past Thursday against the Browns by a score of 17-14. The Broncos only had 232 yards of total offense and they gave up 182 yards on the ground alone. The Broncos couldn’t stop the Browns even though the Browns were without several starters including Baker Mayfield and their top 2 running backs. To make things worse they suffered more injuries at linebacker, a position they were already thin at. Von Miller had to leave the game with a sprained ankle, and Micah Kiser left with a groin injury. Fortunately for Devner, they host WFT next week, who are also on a losing streak. This is a good opportunity for them to find some rhythm as WFT has been outscored 88-55 in the past 3 weeks.
