Tonight confirmed in net for EDM is Koskinen and expected in net for Vegas is Lehner. Vegas has a clear advantage in net tonight but not anywhere else. Vegas is without Stone, Pacioretty, Janmark, Tuch and now Martinez. STL came in and won in Vegas 3-1 and Edmonton is an even better scoring team than STL. The only chance Vegas has to win this game is if Lehner plays lights out and they win 1-0. With all the injuries that Vegas has I will take EDM as a dog here and run with it. I expect this game to be 3-2 EDM. For our player highlight tonight we will look at Darnell Nurse. Nurse had a very good season last year and just ran out of steam in the playoffs as EDM’s only really good defenseman. He finished last season with 36 points. He finished the pre-season with 1 goal and 4 assists. So far in the regular season he has 3 assists. Nurse plays a ton with the first line forwards being a first pair defenseman and he also gets a fair amount of time on the power play with the second unit. Look for him to continue his good play with the helpers tonight and notch at least 1 point in tonight’s game.
