PHI has played surprisingly well this season but EDM has been on fire! McDavid has picked up where he left off last season. Koskinen has also been a pleasant surprise for them coming into this game 3-0 with a 2.03 GAA and a 94.3 SV%. EDM has not put up less than 5 goals outside of one game which was a 3-2 win over VAN. PHI is already not very good defensively and with Ellis out that hurts. Hart is 1-1-1 with a 2.64 GAA and a 91.4 SV%. In his 3 games he has given up 5, 4, and 1 goal. The single goal game was against SEA who has struggled offensively up until last night. For our Player Highlight we will look at Connor McDavid. McDavid is the best player in the league and finished last season with 105 points in 56 games. He has picked up where he left off last season putting up 13 points in 5 games. All this guy does is put up points. He is a magician with the puck and can not only score but can dish the puck like not many others in the league. I look for him to lead EDM to their 6th win of the season tonight and notch at least 2 points tonight. If you do the math last season he averaged 1.88 points per game last season and 2.6 per game this season so far. Got to run with the best player in the league and the statistics!
